This is the product to seriously consider. This is the Hi-Fi amplifier I have dreamed of for years (decades?). Deezer Hi-Fi, Spotify, Tidal (MQA), Apple, YouTube, Amazon, Qobuz. You can have a streaming service or Internet radio station play in just 2 seconds after selection. What drives it is the Bluesound app (Bluesound OS) which is fast and reliable. And being Class D, it is small, distortion free and it keeps its cool. Most people are happy with the amplification out of NAD products (I am). The amplifier is pretty much the same as those used in NAD products, so you get full, separated, neutral amplification that has just a little extra bass to keep things very premium sounding. 80 watts of Class D amplification can drive over 90% of contemporary speakers, so you should take your time to select a great pair. It has the features, aesthetics, build quality, processing power, amplification power and flexibility to make it the hub of your Hi-Fi system for (hopefully) many years. The Bluesound POWERNODE is the streaming amplifier box that Bluesound has been striving to make for years. Very well done DALI and Lenbrook Industries for bringing these gems to North America.
Highly recommended! It sounds like a high end speaker on a budget. The DALI Spektor 1 has a low sensitivity at 83 db so takes a little more power or volume although they are easy to drive with my Denon and sounds great at low and mid volumes and even at higher than normal volumes. A great all around loudspeaker for small rooms that is easy to set up due to its ultra compact size of 237 mm h x 140 mm w x 195 mm d. I have heard a lot of speakers and these DALI Spektor 1 speakers sound special and very musically satisfying with all genres of music. My pair are set up on 30 inch speaker stands. I am not using a sub and have no plans to add one in my 11'w x 16'd x 7'h room. The music coming from them is so much fun and engaging to listen to. They also have this great quality of making brightly mastered recordings listenable that I truly appreciate. The whole speaker is extremely well integrated from mid bass to upper treble. They don't have deep bass, alas they have great mid and upper bass that is so pleasing I don't care about the missing last octave. These tiny speakers sound big in a small room paired with my 100 watt per channel Denon DRA-685 stereo receiver.
